What Should I Expect?
We believe that God’s word is the guidebook to our lives, and so we invest our time and make it a priority to study the word and apply practical and effective ways to apply it to our everyday lives. You can expect to hear fresh and applicable truths from God’s word and from others in our congregation.
Jesus says: “Come to me all who are weary and burdened and I will give you rest.” (Matthew 11:28) At CLC, our worship times are times of refreshing, renewal, empowerment and inspiration. God moves when his people worship and call out to him, and we love spending time in praise and worship. You can expect to experience God when worshiping with us.
We are all about relationship and connecting together! When visiting or attending CLC, a friend is never more than a few steps away. Through lifegroups and getting plugged into various ministries and activities, we strive to create an environment where people feel comfortable around each other and enjoy sharing experiences and growing together. You can expect to be greeted with a warm smile, a firm handshake or hug, and a friend that will help you adapt to our church family.
We understand that our children and youth are the future, and we heavily invest time, care and resources into them. Starting with our Precious Promise Academy, to our Surge Kids Department, to Powerhouse Student Ministries and Vibe Young Adults, we strive to develop activities and teaching for all children, youth and young adults ranging from birth to 29 years old. We enjoy providing programs for families and sitting through services together as a church family, as well as attending events with our children and teenagers. You can expect to find a place for all members of the family and activities for all to engage in, not matter what age they may be.

We believe that God gives freely to us, and so we give to him and his house (the church) with a willing and happy heart. We give because we understand how much God loves us, and we give because we know he is in control of our finances. Through your giving, God has allowed us to reach to our community and communities across the world. None of that would be possible without God and your willingness to honor Him through giving according to Scripture (2 Cor. 9:7, Prov. 3:9) We’re thankful for what God has done and are excited for what the future holds. We want to thank you for your support in helping us reach those who do not have a personal relationship with Jesus. The best is yet to come!

Lifegroups are the perfect place for you to meet others. It’s where people are connected together and lasting relationships are made. They’re small groups that meet regularly, usually every other week or so depending on the group, to get together with one another and spend time in God’s word and fellowship.
There are also several “types” of Lifegroups, from language and interest based groups, such as married couples, to mens, to young adult to youth small groups, etc. Groups meet in different locations around town, and we would love to help you get connected to one! Click here for more information.
We would love to serve with you! To inquire about volunteering, we ask that you please fill out this short form and someone from the church will contact you shortly. You are made to serve!
